WIBA Friday!

Above and below, the welcome dinner at Gino's in Madison, Wisconsin, and the beginning of the Power Presentation by Angie Sturtevant, the Director of Fitness for CycleOps Power.

And we're off. Roughly 60 folks from as far away as Manitoba, Canada packed the upper level of Gino's Italian Restaurant tonight for the WIBA welcome dinner and CycleOps Power training talk. Lasagna, Chicken Florentine and Ravioli were served during uber cool Angie Sturtevant's presentation, and after a few announcements and swag giveaways, a bunch of us went for some OMG good Gelato.
Following are the highlights from the dairy intoxication:
1. "Moist" is a word not to be used around a certain WIBA participant, lest contorted convulsions immediately ensue.
2. Mosquito eggs are not - not ever - joke fodder.
3. Top job in Louisiana in 2009... Crawfish Pither, because boiling them is just so disturbing.
4. No. He really DOESN'T wear underwear under there.
5. Don't worry about the swim, there are floaties in the lake. No, really, there are floaties in the lake.
Aaaand on that note, we're hitting the water bright and early tomorrow, then it's off for big fun and adventure out Verona way! It'll be good to see the place again, especially with some of the most awesome friends I could ask for.
More tomorrow :)
